A kitchen remodel replaces the cabinets, counters, surfaces, and often the layout of your kitchen. It is the largest room project most homeowners take on, and the one where planning matters most, because you have to keep eating while it happens.

What does a kitchen remodel include?

The usual scope is cabinets, countertops, backsplash, sink and faucet, flooring, lighting, and paint. Appliances are yours to choose, and we set them.

Beyond that, it depends on how far you want to go. Keeping the current layout is the least disruptive and the least expensive. Moving the sink or range means moving plumbing, gas, or circuits, which adds real cost but can fix a kitchen that has never worked well.

We walk the room with you first and talk through what actually bothers you about it. Sometimes the fix is smaller than people expect.

How much does a kitchen remodel cost?

A 2026 Florida cost guide from Property Fixology puts budget focused kitchens near $12,000 to $18,000, mid range projects at about $25,000 to $40,000, and high end designs above $50,000. Those are published Florida market figures, not our quote.

Cabinets are almost always the biggest single line. After that it is counters, then whether anything has to move. We measure and give you a written number for free.

Is it cheaper to reface cabinets or replace them?

Refacing costs less because the boxes stay. We replace the doors, drawer fronts, and the visible skin, and the layout stays exactly as it is.

It only makes sense when the boxes are solid. If they are particleboard that has swelled, or the layout is the actual problem, refacing spends money without fixing anything. We look inside the cabinets before recommending either one.

Which countertop holds up best in Florida?

Quartz and granite both hold up well here. Quartz is non porous, so it does not need sealing and shrugs off spills. Granite is natural stone and needs resealing now and then, but it handles heat better.

Laminate is the budget option and has come a long way in looks. It does not like standing water at the seams, so it wants more care around the sink. We will show you samples and be straight about how each one lives day to day.

Can I use my kitchen while you work?

Partly, and only if we plan for it. There is a stretch in the middle, usually when the old cabinets are out and the counters are not in yet, where the room simply is not usable.

We help you set up a temporary spot with the fridge, microwave, and coffee somewhere else in the house before demolition starts. Knowing that gap is coming makes it far easier than being surprised by it.

Do you move plumbing and appliances?

Yes. We reset sinks and dishwashers, run new supply and drain lines where a layout change calls for it, and set your new appliances when the cabinets are in.

Moving a sink or range to a new wall is a bigger job than it looks, because the drain has to fall correctly and the circuits have to reach. We tell you what a move costs before you commit to it, so the decision is yours with real numbers in front of you.

How long does a kitchen remodel take?

Most kitchens run about three to five weeks on site once materials are in. Cabinets are the long pole and often need several weeks from order to delivery.

That is why we order first and demolish second. Tearing out a kitchen and then waiting on a cabinet truck is how people end up eating off a card table for two months. We do not start until the parts are lined up.

Who orders the cabinets?

We do, on your behalf, once you have chosen. That keeps one person accountable for measurements, and it means a wrong door or a short filler is our problem to solve, not yours.

You still pick the style, finish, and hardware. We handle the measuring, the order, and the fix if something arrives damaged. Every kitchen we build carries a 10 year workmanship warranty on our labor, and 12 to 18 month financing is available.
